P.S. Do you know why Google’s machine learning algorithm still feed me ads for women’s clothing in a language I don’t speak? Does it know something about me I don’t or is it extraordinarily and expensively stupid?
@jstogdill I have uBlock and thus don't know what it serves me, but prior to that it actually did well then blundered sometimes (as it has like I've never seen before in your case, lmao).
Real talk, ads are interesting because you can afford a high miss rate. Despite some obvious mistakes in some cases, it's probably a net win for companies using them. Maybe not for users and humanity.
What's weird is seeing people apply AI where you DON'T WANT those error rates.
